Pratt Institute and KinoSaito Announce New Partnership Artist in Residence (AIR) Fellowship Program in Westchester County and Spring 2023 Schools of Art and Design Faculty Awardees

John Monti is a sculptor whose work is inspired by botanical drawings, ornaments, religious objects, and custom-car culture. He has exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, SculptureCenter, White Columns, Artists Space, and Elizabeth Harris Gallery, among other venues; and his selected works are in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Brooklyn Museum, and Yale University Art Gallery. Monti received a BS in Painting/Sociology from Portland State University, and an MFA in Sculpture from Pratt Institute. During his KinoSaito residency, he will research, draw, and model three-dimensional works based on endangered flora in the U.S.
